The premise for her work in progress A Beautiful Death, came from a comment by Christine Bryden, author and lived experience dementia advocate. She remarked that her brain was damaged, but her spirit was fine. Carolyn began to wonder if, as people became less connected to the world around them, they could become more connected to the spiritual world.
Experience with clients and members of her own family as well as tertiary study on ageing and pastoral care reinforced these reflections. A Beautiful Death is the creative outcome.
The road ahead is full of exciting possibilities, and I promise you this: there are many more stories to tell. Each new book is a chapter in this ongoing adventure, and I am thrilled to have you along for the ride. Thank you for being part of this journey, and for your continued support as I continue to write, grow, and dream.
